Tooth Whitening

This is the most requested treatment in cosmetic dentistry due to the non-invasive and non-destructive nature of the procedure but mainly due to the outstanding results which can be achieved giving you a brighter, younger looking smile. Tooth whitening does not damage your teeth or gums, it simply removes the stains which have built up over the years. At Honley Dental Practice we use three techniques for whitening teeth;

Home Whitening - £300

With this technique, impressions are taken and very thin trays are made into which bleach is placed and then fitted over your teeth. Most patients would need to wear the trays overnight for 2 to 4 weeks to achieve the desired result.

1 Hour BriteSmile in Surgery Tooth Whitening - £495

This treatment is carried out at the practice using light activated bleach to whiten your teeth up to 8 shades in one hour. The most common reason for choosing this technique is because it is convenient. Whiter teeth in your lunch hour! We would expect your teeth to stay whiter for 18 to 24 months.

Combination Tooth Whitening - £650

If you want the convenience of in surgery tooth whitening but want to maintain your whiter smile for longer, then we carry out the in surgery tooth whitening and then ask you to wear the home bleaching tray for approximately 2 hours each month.
